Mulwarrie Project Delivers Continued Growth Potential

Gorilla Gold Mines Ltd has announced a fresh round of encouraging drilling results from its 100%-owned Mulwarrie Gold Project, located near Kalgoorlie in Western Australia's prolific Goldfields region. The latest assays confirm that high-grade gold mineralisation extends at least 100 metres further down-plunge than previously defined, reinforcing the project's potential for significant resource expansion.

Among the standout results, hole MWEX036 returned 9 metres at 4.9 grams per tonne gold from 253 metres depth, extending mineralisation well beyond the existing resource boundary. Additionally, shallow in-fill drilling near surface (MWEX069) intercepted 8 metres at 4.7 grams per tonne, helping to solidify the near-surface resource base.

Discovery of a New Footwall Lode

Perhaps most notably, the drilling program uncovered a new footwall lode 150 metres away from the main mineralised zone. Hole MWEX072 intersected 3 metres at 1.7 grams per tonne gold from 52 metres depth, marking the third new lode discovered during this maiden drilling campaign. This finding highlights the complex, multi-lode nature of the Mulwarrie system, which now comprises multiple stacked lodes spanning a width of 200 to 300 metres and extending over a 2.5-kilometre strike length.

Towards an Updated Mineral Resource Estimate

Gorilla Gold is on track to deliver an updated Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE) for Mulwarrie in the third quarter of 2025. The company is awaiting assay results from the remaining 15 to 20 drill holes, which primarily target further depth extensions. These results will be incorporated into the forthcoming resource update, expected to reflect both increased tonnage and potentially higher grades.

CEO Charles Hughes emphasised the project's upside, noting the continuity of high-grade mineralisation from surface to depths of 400 metres and the potential for further growth along the broader strike extent. The company is also advancing exploration at its nearby Comet Vale Project, where multiple rigs are active, promising a busy period of news flow and resource delineation.

Strategic Location and Geological Setting

Mulwarrie benefits from granted mining leases and proximity to established haul roads and operational gold processing facilities within 100 kilometres. The deposit lies within a greenstone belt characterized by steeply dipping fault systems and quartz veining associated with sulphide mineralisation. This geological setting supports the presence of multiple high-grade lodes, some of which have been historically mined, and now stand to be significantly expanded under Gorilla Gold's stewardship.

With a current inferred resource of approximately 78,700 ounces at 2.8 grams per tonne gold, the project’s potential for growth is substantial. The recent drilling results and new lode discoveries underscore the opportunity to materially increase this resource base in the near term.
