Auravelle Metals reports exceptional high-grade gold results from its initial drilling at South Australia's Nuckulla Hill Project, alongside ongoing exploration efforts in Western Australia and a successful capital raise.
- Phase 1 RC drilling at Nuckulla Hill yields assays up to 25.4g/t gold over 1m
- Phase 2 RC and first-pass aircore drilling completed with results pending
- Extensive soil sampling identifies multiple priority gold and silver anomalies
- Maiden aircore drilling program completed at Crown Gold Project in WA
- Company rebrands from Sipa Resources to Auravelle Metals and raises A$1.6 million
Strong Start at Nuckulla Hill
Auravelle Metals Limited (ASX – AUV) has delivered a promising update from its September 2025 quarter, highlighting exceptional high-grade gold intercepts at the Nuckulla Hill Project in South Australia's Gawler Craton. The initial Phase 1 reverse circulation (RC) drilling program returned standout results, including a remarkable 1 metre sample grading 25.4 grams per tonne (g/t) gold. These results were obtained at the Sheoak prospect, where mineralisation was intersected over at least 150 metres of strike and remains open in multiple directions.
The Phase 1 program comprised 13 holes totalling 1,684 metres, targeting both Sheoak and the nearby Bimba prospect. While Sheoak delivered several high-grade zones, Bimba showed encouraging gold mineralisation with intercepts above 1g/t gold, warranting further drilling to delineate its potential.
Advancing Exploration with Phase 2 Drilling and Soil Sampling
Building on these results, Auravelle completed a Phase 2 RC drilling program with 10 holes for 1,060 metres, focusing on extensions at Sheoak, Sheoak East, and Arcoordaby prospects. Although assay results from this phase are still awaited, the company also conducted a first-pass aircore drilling campaign over key targets at Nuckulla Hill and Tunkillia North, with results expected shortly.
Complementing the drilling, an extensive soil sampling program collected over 1,200 samples across Nuckulla Hill and Tunkillia North. This work has identified multiple priority gold and silver anomalies, including new targets not previously recognised by historical calcrete sampling. The integration of these datasets is expected to refine future drill targeting and expand Auravelle’s prospect portfolio.
Progress in Western Australia and Corporate Developments
In Western Australia, Auravelle completed a maiden aircore drilling program at the Crown Gold Project near Kalgoorlie, comprising 53 holes for over 3,100 metres. This marks the first non-RAB drilling on the project and aims to test key mineralised structures linked to nearby producing gold centres. Assay results are anticipated in late November or early December.
On the corporate front, the company officially changed its name from Sipa Resources Limited to Auravelle Metals Limited, reflecting its renewed focus on gold exploration. The rebranding coincided with a successful placement raising A$1.6 million at 1.4 cents per share, supported by existing and new shareholders, including full participation from the board. Auravelle reported a cash balance of A$1.3 million at quarter-end, with no debt.
Outlook and Strategic Focus
Auravelle is actively progressing heritage clearances to enable expanded drilling at Nuckulla Hill and other prospects in early 2026. The company continues to review its portfolio, having relinquished non-core tenements in the Paterson North region to concentrate resources on its South Australian and Western Australian gold projects. With promising early results and a strengthened financial position, Auravelle is positioning itself for a pivotal year ahead in its exploration journey.
Bottom Line?
Auravelle’s high-grade hits and expanded exploration set the stage for a critical phase of assay results and drilling in 2026.
Questions in the middle?
- Will Phase 2 RC and aircore drilling confirm and extend the high-grade zones at Sheoak and other prospects?
- How will the newly identified soil anomalies translate into drill targets and potential resource upgrades?
- What are Auravelle’s plans to secure additional funding beyond the current cash runway to sustain exploration momentum?
