Aurelia Metals Limited (ASX, AMI) has delivered a fresh wave of promising exploration results from its ongoing drilling campaign at the historic Nymagee Mine in western New South Wales. The company’s latest assays confirm extensions of polymetallic mineralisation across multiple lenses, reinforcing the potential for a new mine in the prolific Cobar region.

Key among the findings are significant up-dip and down-dip extensions at Nymagee North, the Metropolitan lens, and Nymagee Main deposits. Drillholes NMD124 and NMD125 notably extended the Nymagee North lens by 100 metres up-dip and along strike, revealing consistent polymetallic mineralisation that includes copper, zinc, lead, silver, and gold. Similarly, the Metropolitan lens was extended 40 metres up-dip, maintaining thickness and grade, while Nymagee Main was pushed 250 metres down-dip, confirming the continuity of sulphide mineralisation at depth.

The drilling results include standout intercepts such as 19.2 metres at 1.3% copper with accompanying zinc, lead, silver, and gold grades at Nymagee North. Within this interval, higher-grade zones were identified, including a 4-metre section grading 4.0% copper and a 1-metre section with 8.1% copper and elevated zinc and lead. These grades underscore the polymetallic nature of the deposit and its potential economic significance.

At Nymagee Main, drilling targeted conductor plates identified in a December 2024 downhole electromagnetic (DHEM) survey, successfully intersecting moderate to high-grade sulphides. The deposit remains open at depth and along strike, suggesting further resource growth opportunities.

DHEM Surveys Guide Next Steps

The use of DHEM surveys has proven instrumental in delineating conductive sulphide zones, accelerating the identification of mineralised extensions. Following the success of the 2024 survey at Nymagee Main, Aurelia completed an additional DHEM survey at Nymagee North in December 2025. Results from this survey are anticipated early in 2026 and will direct future drilling efforts, particularly around the Nymagee North and Lazer lenses, which show significant growth potential.
