Exultant Mining Advances Black Hammer with 76 Samples and New Exploration Licence

Exploration Momentum Builds at Black Hammer

Exultant Mining Limited (ASX – 10X) has kicked off field reconnaissance activities at its Black Hammer Project in New South Wales, marking a significant step forward in its copper and gold exploration efforts. The company has collected 76 rock chip samples from key prospects including Two Mile Creek, Porters Retreat, AC Prospect, Watsons Prospect, and Hughes Copper Prospect. These samples are currently undergoing multi-element and gold analysis at ALS Orange, with results expected in early 2026.

The Black Hammer Project now benefits from an expanded footprint following the granting of Exploration Licence EL9826, which consolidates tenure around the historic Tuglow Copper Mines. This licence addition enhances Exultant’s coverage of the highly prospective Macquarie Arc geological setting, known for hosting world-class porphyry and epithermal deposits.

Historic Mines and Modern Techniques

Exultant’s Executive Chairman Brett Grosvenor highlighted the company’s strategy to apply modern exploration techniques to historically underexplored areas. The Tuglow Copper Mines, part of the project area, have reported impressive historic grades including up to 14% copper and 26.4 grams per tonne gold. While these mines were never advanced beyond shallow workings, they present compelling targets for renewed investigation.

Reconnaissance mapping at Porters Retreat confirmed the presence of altered intrusive rocks with sulphide mineralisation, while at the AC Prospect, a quartz-vein swarm associated with historic gold anomalies has been extended to approximately 900 metres and remains open for further exploration. Watsons Prospect also shows promising hydrothermal alteration and sulphide-bearing quartz veining over a broad area, yet remains untested by drilling.

Land Access and Upcoming Drilling Plans

Progress on land access agreements is advancing, with verbal commitments received from landholders covering critical areas such as the Tuglow Copper Mine. Formal execution of these agreements is anticipated shortly, enabling detailed on-ground assessments and exploration activities.

Looking ahead, Exultant plans to conduct aircore drilling and ground magnetic surveys at Watsons Prospect in the first half of 2026. Concurrent geophysical surveys including gravity and induced polarisation (IP) will be undertaken across the Tuglow Copper Mines to refine targets for follow-up drilling scheduled for mid to late 2026.

This multi-disciplinary approach aims to unlock value from the project’s historic high-grade mineralisation and expand the understanding of its geological potential.
