Cazaly Resources Limited (ASX, CAZ) has announced encouraging results from its recent Aircore (AC) drilling campaign at the Goongarrie Gold Project in Western Australia. The program successfully delineated a substantial 1,300-metre strike length of shallow, high-grade gold mineralisation, with assays reaching as high as 6.6 grams per tonne (g/t) from surface. These findings not only validate historical drilling data but also highlight new high-potential targets along the Menzies Shear Zone.

Details of the Drilling Program and Results

The expanded AC program, completed in November 2025, comprised 240 holes totaling 7,604 metres, supplementing an earlier phase conducted in August. The drilling focused on key prospects including Star of Goongarrie, Jenny’s Reward, and Masons Flat. Notable intercepts include 4 metres at 6.6 g/t gold from surface and multiple other intervals exceeding 3 g/t gold at shallow depths. These results confirm a continuous mineralised trend that aligns with structural complexities and magnetic anomalies indicative of gold-bearing shear zones.

Strategic Significance and Next Steps

Managing Director Tara French emphasised the transformative potential of these results, noting that the upcoming Reverse Circulation (RC) drilling program scheduled for early 2026 will target extensions of the high-grade zones identified. This next phase aims to better define the continuity and grade of the mineralisation, which is critical for advancing towards resource estimation. The Goongarrie Project’s location within the prolific Kalgoorlie Terrain and its coverage of the Bardoc Tectonic Zone further underpin its strategic importance in the region’s gold exploration landscape.

Goongarrie sits 90 kilometres north of Kalgoorlie, a world-renowned gold mining district. The project area encompasses 70 kilometres of greenstone belts and multiple shear zones known for hosting significant gold deposits. Recent exploration successes by nearby operators reinforce the district’s potential, with comparable intercepts reported at adjacent prospects. Cazaly’s methodical approach, combining historical data with modern drilling techniques, positions the company well to unlock value from this underexplored terrain.
